On December 11th 2008, Nero passed away quietly in my arms.

Thank you for all the good times we shared together, my friend.

You were the first dog that was all mine.

It was like a dream came true the day we went to Ytre Enebakk in 1997 to take you home.

You lived for much more years than we thought you would.

You were always happy even if you had some pains.

You quietly fell asleep in my lap, at Oslo Veterinærhøgskole.

Imagine, you turned 11 years old.

None of us would have believed that, when we got the message you had HD grade E.

When you were 2 years old we participated in a project,

called  "Gull-prosjektet"  at Oslo Veterinærhøgskole.

They inserted small balls of gold around your hips to help stabilize them,

so you would be in less pain and able to move more freely.

I have no doubt in my mind, this was a great help to you.

You struggled a  little now and then but it quietly passed.

You loved our walks in the woods, and obedience was never a problem with you.

Because of this you never wore a leash.

I will always remember you Nero and I miss you every day.

Rest in peace and enjoy where you are now.
